Your concentrator is a medical device, so we ship it only once a valid prescription is on file. That isn’t a hoop. It’s how we make sure the unit actually matches what your body needs, and it’s the standard every legitimate oxygen provider holds. Don’t have a prescription yet? Will this work for my oxygen?
Most portable concentrators deliver oxygen in pulses, a burst timed to each breath, rather than a constant flow measured in liters per minute (LPM). A pulse setting is not the same as an LPM number, so matching a unit to your prescription takes a real conversation, not just a number on a page.
Pulse delivery suits many people, but not everyone. If you breathe through your mouth, take shallow breaths, or use oxygen while you sleep, a pulse unit may not trigger reliably for you, and a continuous-flow setup may be the better fit.
